Dear Santa...

I have tried my very hardest to be a good puppy this year. I only chew on Ricochet once a day and since the moles have left the yard I am not digging nearly as much! I have to admit that I do still bring in rocks and mud in the kitchen  - but Mom says she wants a darker floor in there and that is the only way I know how!
I would like a chewie toy and some treats. Enough to share with everyone, please!
And if you could help the lots of puppies and kitties that don't have a home find one that would be great. I know how lucky I am and want all critters to have this much love!

A Bit Worried

Was I good enough for that Santa Claws person to bring me anything? Why does he get to come in the house at night, anyway? Should I bite him as an intruder? Better not - I bet that would make me naughty for sure!

The groomer said Dori was very well behaved and didn't give them any trouble. She had bows in her hair but wouldn't let me get a good pic with them in!

Working for my breakfast!

Dori loves this little toy that hides her food. We don't even put treats in it - just her regular kibble! Neither of the other dogs will try to get the food out (though Rico has been known to steal a bite or two!)

That tickles!!

Dori and Ricochet have developed a wonderful interspecies friendship! They play together all the time and lately Rico has begun grooming her when he gets the chance. He will hold her down to get her face clean!

Scruffy

Dori's adult coat is starting to come in, which gives her a bit of a scruffy look at times! A lot of folks refer to this stage as the "puppy uglies" but we don't use that (at least, as long as she is in hearing! lol)

A Tail of Two Dogs

This is the story of two dogs and a stuffed hedgehog. Zeus really liked the new toy we brought home,

 Dori also liked the hedgehog - a lot!!

So what happens in our home when they both want the same toy?

 Total mayhem and a lot of laughter, of course!

In the end they have decided to share it. Kinda. Well... sometimes! (as long as the other one isn't around at least!)

 Dori has decided that she needs to rid our yard of the moles that live there. Unfortunately, this is leading to some rather holey spots in the yard.

It is also leading to a few more baths than she might like! (eventually I will get her sitting still enough so you can see her brown little face after a digging expedition!)

Woofstock is over?!?

Dori was quite disappointed to learn that Woofstock happened waaay before she was born!
(ok, maybe not - but she was unhappy that I was holding the treat just out of her reach to take the picture!)

Dori has discovered that the garden is a fun place to play!! Luckily the dirt was dry and she brushed clean  - otherwise it would have meant the dreaded bath!
